Revision of the IUCN SSC Guidelines on the Use of Ex situ Management for Species Conservation

 

 

The revision of the IUCN Species Survival Commission Guidelines on the Use of Ex situ Management for Species Conservation was approved by the SSC Steering Committee in August, replacing the 2002 IUCN Technical Guidelines on the Management of Ex Situ Populations for Conservation. Zoos & Aquariums for 350

CBSG is sparking a global movement for zoos, aquariums, and other conservation organizations to call on world leaders to address the threat of climate change. This movement calls on zoological institutions to boldly address climate change in their institution through a series of practical steps that result in positive action. Learn more.

 

 

 

The One Plan Approach
